§          Journalists must not give any information that may lead to the identification of the refugee such as; showing face/ passport photo, give name or refugee certificates.

§          We are aware of several cases of refugees who were threatened or had their family members killed because their photograph was circulating on the internet or they have been seen on the TV or in the newspaper.

§          Journalists should be sensitive and respectful towards the feelings of newly arriving refugees.

§          Some refugees are traumatized and find it very difficult to approach any part or any organization.
